What's In My Makeup Bag?

I received a comment the other day from a reader saying that they would love to see what was in my pug makeup bag and I realised that I had never done a post like this. This bag is everything I use often and the things I like to have on hand at all times. While I don't wear all of this makeup every day, it's full of all of my favourites and I thought a mini review on each product would make this post a little more interesting!

Base
  • Prime Time bareMinerals - This is currently in a pot as I was trying to get every last drop out of it's packaging, but it is my absolute favourite primer that I've tried so far.
  • Face of Australia Setting Powder - This loose setting powder is my holy grail and I haven't used anything but in a long, long time.
  • Maybelline Age Rewind - This is my favourite concealer for dark circles.
  • Maybelline Fit Me - I use this when I need more coverage under the eyes and just all over the face. It's a perfect all-rounder.
  • Garnier BB Cream - This is my go-to base for everyday wear as it's light but not too dewey.
  • Mac Pro Longwear Concealer - This is what I go for when I need great, great coverage. This isn't usually an everyday product, but I like to have it on hand incase.
  • Lorac Primer - I don't use this everyday either, as I stick to basic shadows, but it's a great product.

Lashes
  • Eyelash Curlers - These are a must have for me, I feel so weird putting on mascara without curling my lashes.
  • Maybelline the Falsies - When I want a dark, black and voluminous lash that is long but still quite natural.
  • L'Oreal Miss Manga - My current holy grail mascara. This is the perfect all-rounder when it comes to achieving perfect lashes and is what I've been using every single day.
  • Revlon Lash Potion - An amazing mascara that gives a lot of length and volume.

Eyes & Cheeks
  • Australis Eyebrow Kit - My favourite brow product at the moment. It creates such a flawless finish and my brows have never looked better.
  • Maybelline Brow Drama - This is an amazing brow gel if you can find your shade. It sets them but doesn't leave that crunchy finish that a lot do.
  • Rimmel Scandal Eyes (Nude) - I use this to brighten up my waterline when I look tired.
  • Maybelline Master Precise Liner - My favourite liquid liner of all time! I highly recommend this to everyone.
  • Rimmel Scandal Eyes Liner - I have been testing this out as the 'waterproof' claim drew me in, but it's quite a dry pen and is difficult to work with. I feel like I got a dud?
  • Kim's Kardazzle Palette - My favourite mini palette for everyday eye looks. I gravitate mainly towards the amazing neutral mattes.
  • Chi Chi Baked Eyeshadow (Call Me) - My everyday inner-corner and brow highlight. It's such a beautiful shade.
  • Rimmel Blush (Santa Rose) - The perfect everyday cheek colour. It is beautiful and glowy, so you don't necessarily need a highlighter.
Are any of these products your favourites as well?

  12. It's actually much more roomy than it looks! There's still plenty of room to grow. x

  13. I do, but it is something I find I prefer to wear with a base, which might be no problem for you - I'm not sure. It just tends to look a little much if the rest of your face is bare. I definitely love it, though, and it's a really great one that's thick but not heavy. It's also great for all-over concealing. x

  16. The one I'm talking about there is the liquid liner, is this the one you're talking about? Because if I got a dud I definitely want to repurchase it, as it seems like it would be incredible. I have no problem with the pencil liners, though. x

  23. Aww that makeup bag is cute, plus it actually holds A LOT of stuff! Although question: where are your lipsticks? LOL That's usually the most interesting part for me :p

  24. I actually keep my lipsticks in a separate makeup bag! I probably should have included a few favourites here, but I might do a separate video for my lipstick-makeup bag. x
