The Review: Topshop Cream Blush

Topshop's makeup has always intrigued me. Because it comes from a clothing store, from previous experience, I didn't expect very much. However, the quality, packaging and reviews said the complete opposite. I am always looking to extend my blush colour range since I tend to gravitate towards the same shades, so I picked up the colour "flushed" which is a hot pink and definitely out of my comfort zone of paler, sheerer shades.

At first it was daunting, but as you can see in the swatch it definitely sheers out into a much more wearable colour and can be sheered out even more if you really want a natural look. My issue with cream blushes is usually the prospect of blendability. It seems so scary to put this "wet" product on your cheeks incase it doesn't blend and you're stuck with a bright, pigmented splotch on your cheek. The Topshop cream blushes blend out like a dream, I couldn't even believe it, and they've definitely made me keen to try other formulations.

The longevity is great and it really, really lasts on the cheeks. My favourite part about this blush is that it's matte. I've said it once and I'll say it again, I love the matte look and avoid shimmer most places except my eyes. For some reason I just can't get used to a "glow" on my face. These are definitely a must-have from the Topshop collection.

What are your favourite Topshop products? What would you recommend for me to try next?
