Due to being on a no-buy (unless a favourite runs out, of course) I really couldn't see any products in my favourites this month that I hadn't spoken about before, many of which I have spoken about multiple times before, so I knew it wouldn't make for a very interesting roundup. Therefore I decided to write about my other favourites, which I generally enjoy more than beauty favourites if I'm honest.

Giftguide for him
As a complete beauty lover, while creating and looking at beauty gift guides might make me salivate, they have been done and we all know what fellow beauty lovers would love to receive this christmas. The real mystery to me, and almost everyone else it seems, is the guys. I have made a collection of things I know my boyfriend would love as he is one of the most difficult people to buy for. His interest lay largely in video games and he always snatches up the new releases for himself, so I'm left scratching my head.
September Favourites
One of my biggest favourites of the month, maybe even the year, was my newly landed Lorac Pro Palette. This is even more stunning than I imagined and the quality is utter perfection. I've been experimenting with the colours and finishes a lot and can't wait to talk a little more in depth about what I think of it. With this palette came the Lorac Behind the Scenes eye primer which I've also been loving. The consistency is really nice and it definitely makes the shadows look more beautiful and last longer. Another primer sample that appeared in my makeup bag this month was the bareMinerals 'Prime Time' face primer. I have to say I like this better than The Body Shop Insta Blur that I was raving about just a week or two ago. I think I'll have to splurge and get the full size when this little guy runs out.
It's been a big month in terms of brows. I've gotten my brow routine down with the help of a few key products. My Eco Tools brow styling brush may look pretty simple, but it makes all the difference. I never used to take the time to brush out my brows, but with the help of this my powder application is so much smoother and overall looks more polished. With a full review here it's clear to see that I love the Maybelline Brow Drama brow gel. I've always stuck to clear gels in the past, but the tinting really makes all the difference and adds some dimension to my brows.
Since spring is here on my side of the globe I've been having some serious autumn envy. However, I've been trying to incorporate some bright, easy to wear colours back into my every day routine. Maybelline's Lip Butter in 'Sweet Tart' has been a staple for me since I started wearing makeup. It bright, beautiful and so, so moisturising. Along with the spring vibes, even though I wear it all year round, is Marc Jacob's 'Daisy'. It's such a fresh, floral scent and Daisy Dream is definitely going on my Christmas list.
I've been wearing the floral, flowly shirt above all month as the warmer weather has started to show. Paired with highwaisted skinny jeans it's great for the days you want to experience the warmth of the sun on your arms, but it's still a bit chilly for a dress. Finally, I've been obsessed with my chunky platforms that I picked up from Missguided awhile ago. I've actually had a few chances to wear them this month which makes me happy. This picture does them no justice, I am completely obsessed with them!
What have you been loving this month?
Marc Jacobs' Daisy
Marc Jacobs' 'Daisy' was a scent that I had lusted after ever since it's release and the hype surrounding it, but alas, fragrances are something I struggle to buy for myself since they can be pricey and feel somewhat unnecessary when I already have a few others in the rotation. When I received this for Christmas I was over the moon and it instantly became my new signature scent. I have worn this almost every day since Christmas, so a good seven months now, and I've only used a little less than half the bottle.
This is a fragrance I don't think I can go without now that I have owned it once. The scent is so fun, yet there is a level of maturity to it at the same time. Some may argue that the scent is completely airy and girly, but in comparison to some of the other perfumes in my collection this does have a note of sophistication that the others are lacking. As the name suggests, it is quite a floral based perfume, but as someone who isn't a huge floral lover I can reassure you that it is no way that overpowering scent that often deters us sensitive-nosed people. I find myself often getting migraines when it comes to overbearing scents and this is by no means one of them as it is quite toned down.
If you have never had a chance to sniff this before, it is described on the Marc Jacobs' website as found here:
"Fresh and feminine, Daisy is a playful bright and alluring scent. Daisy captivates with the luscious freshness of wild strawberry, then blooms with the modern vintage edge of velvety violet petals and finishes with a luminous blend of gardenia and jasmine. The white accords of birch and cedarwood add a bit of intensity."
Do you wear the same perfume every day, and if so, what is it?
My Winter Wishlist
Fashion
1. SweatersSweaters are my absolute favourite item of clothing to wear. They take no thought, look good and are so comfy. Since I wear them almost every day in the winter I feel I need a few more in my rotation to avoid wearing the same one three times in one week.
2. Wax Coated Jeans
While I love the look of leather pants, I don't know how I feel about them on me. Wax coated pants are the perfect middle ground as they still have that edgy sheen, but also have the safe element of black skinny jeans.
3. Black Boots
I love bulky statement shoes, and Windsor Smith are great at churning them out. Any of their black boots would do for the winter, but I particularly love this pair.
4. Holographic Purse
I'm a really big fan of the holographic/futuristic trend. This bag is subtle and would make a monochrome outfit pop.
5. Quirky Flats
Every pair of flats I buy end up being dull and practical. I've seen so many cute designs on the internet and I want some!
6. Scarfs
Okay, this might be something I have enough of already, but I want more! I love dressing up my plainer outfits with scarfs.
Beauty
1. Narsissist PaletteThis is no longer available in my country, but the whole point of making a wish list is to go a little overboard. This palette really has it all colour wise and is perfect for travel.
2. Dark Lipsticks
I love the look of dark vampy lips, hence my last post. I keep going to buy them then realise I don't wear them enough to justify more than one tube of burgundy lipstick.
3. Dark Nails
In the summer I went neon and pastel crazy and now I'm looking for some darker colours. I really need a good black which has been hard to find.
4. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush
The colour of this is just gorgeous and I can imagine how perfect it would look on the cheeks. I really want to try a deeper, plumy blush this winter.
5. Dior Addict Fluid Stick
Something about these just speaks to me. I don't know whether it's the packaging or the product itself, but I want on of these!
6. Nars Radient Creamy Concealer
This is probably the most realistic item on the list in terms of me actually buying it. I am waiting for my MAC studio fix concealer to run out before deciding, though.
7. The Perfect Nude
Nude lips and I don't go together, at least so I thought. I've been loving the look of them on others more and more and am on the hunt for my perfect nude. The Too Faced lipsticks have such a wide range, they all look beautiful.

Random
1. Kate Spade iPhone CaseI love everything about Kate Spade, especially her accessories. They're so quirky, cheeky and fun. I particularly like this "Ciao!" design, navy and gold look amazing together.
2. Headphones
I'm in need of some good quality headphones as earbuds annoy me, but they're pricey and something I don't really want to splash out on for myself. The friends headphones are chic and high quality, making them the best of both worlds.
3. The Fault in Our Stars
Okay, this one isn't exactly a proper "wish list" item, but it's something I'm excited for this winter! It comes out in about two weeks and I can't wait to see it after how much I loved the book. I'm usually worried about movies butchering something I love, but if John Green loves it himself it must be amazing!
4. Makeup Bag
I have my daily essentials spread out over three small cosmetics pouches which is an issue. Make up bags can be kind of pricey so I've been waiting for one I love instead of buying the first one I see. I adore the Charlotte Tilbury one, but it's not available where I live!
5. Leather Banded Watch
I have a beautiful rose gold watch, but I've been loving the simpler look a black leather banded watch gives. I especially love this one from Marc Jacobs. It's a very classic yet chic design.
5. Leather Bound Journal
Ideally I'd use this to write down my thoughts, but even if this weren't to eventuate I still want a leather bound journal. There is just something about them I adore.
These are all items I've been looking at non-stop online or in store. It is definitely a fantasy wish list, but I decided to have fun with it and not limit myself to a realistic amount of items.
