January Favourites
One of my New Years resolutions when it came to blogging was to try and get out more monthly favourites post, as my one and only favourites post last year was my most popular post of all time. I've been excited to write this post and have been thinking about it all month long!
Rimmel Blush in 'Santa Rose'
This is my current go to blush and I haven't found myself reaching for anything else since I bought it! It's such a beautiful, natural, glistening pink and I highly recommend it to anyone of any skin tone. It's just a universally flattering shade and definitely a no-brainer when it comes to application.
Maybelline 'Fit Me' Concealer
As someone who is constantly searching for "something better" I tend to go through a lot of concealers, so I know exactly what I do and don't like pretty quickly. The Maybelline 'Fit Me' concealer is amazing, creamy and blends like a dream. Aside from the horrible colour selection, this is up there with my all time favourites!
Chi Chi Baked Eyeshadow in 'Call Me'
This is the ultimate highlighter. Cheek, inner corner or brow - this sheens, glistens and glows. It is very strong and gold toned, so it's definitely not for everyone for the face, but for an inner corner highlight or just a shadow in general, it's beyond stunning and definitely something to check out if you can.
Maybelline Falsies Volume Express
I love Maybelline mascaras, as well as Maybelline in general, and this is definitely one of their best. My lashes have been a little sad looking lately, and my usual Revlon mascaras wand is just too large for the outer corners that need the most love. This applicator is perfect, as it's slim and designed to get into every corner. The formula is great as well, ultra black and lengthening!
Model Co Replenishing Rose Mist
This has been the perfect product to have around for the super hot days we've been having! It's a great instant surge of moisture for why my skin is feeling dry, a way to pick up my flat looking makeup and just a great all round product.
MAC 'Fast Play' Lipstick
This has to be one of my favourite shades of all time. It's a stunning, brown toned pink and is perfect for that 90s lip look that is so coveted. It's a shade that hasn't gotten a lot of love in the blogging community, so it's definitely one to check out if every other shade seems to have a permanent "not in stock" sign.
What have you been loving this month?
That facial mist sounds SO good. The Chi Chi brand still makes me jealous. I should get on my January favorites.. you're so good at keeping up!

ha, i'm so bad at monthly favourites but i LOVE when that time rolls around and i get to see everyone's so i'd really like to stick to it a bit more with my blog but i guess we'll see.
ReplyDeletealso i completely agree with you about the fit me concealer, it's one of my favourites too. i'm over halfway through my tube and i have so many concealers i don't need any more for AGES but once i finish it and a few more up i think i'll have to buy another because it's definitely up there with the best of them.

I love the Maybelline Fit Me concealer! Was definitely my favourite before I tried the Nars one, heh. I really want to try Santa Rose! I thought they discontinued it though! It's never at the Rimmel stands and there's not even a place for it :(

I really like Rimmel's blushes, they are quite good:)

Me keeping up with favourites is definitely a "we'll see" kind of thing as well. Sometimes I won't use anything new at all, this month has just been good with the new products due to christmas.
ReplyDeleteI think Fit Me concealer is so great just because it's thicker and creamy, but so, so blendable. It's kind of a rare combination to find, as those kinds of concealers are usually so cakey!
I need to try the NARS one and stop putting it off! With Santa Rose, I think it just has never been available in Australia. I ended up getting mine off of ASOS!
ReplyDeleteThey're amazing! x
ReplyDeleteIt's such a stunning shade with a great formula, I highly recommend it! x
ReplyDeleteIt really is, and such a good bargain alternative for the more expensive ones on the market. x
ReplyDeleteThat Rimmel blush looks fab! Definitely need to try them. I used to swear by that Maybelline concealer as well x
