The Perfect Spring Flush

When NYX first launched in Australia about a year and a half ago I went a little crazy and did a massive NYX haul. At the time I was a blush-phobe so I don't know what drew me to such a vivid colour, but something about this shade changed my entire blush related outlook. I am now obsessed and my makeup doesn't feel complete without it!

NYX's 'Peach' is by no means a peachy blush, which I've seen so many people point out. What is with NYX and their colour naming, by the way? Regardless, it's a beautiful bright but an also somewhat deep pink. The great thing about NYX's formula is that it isn't "creamy" or "buttery" or any other food related word. They are actually quite dry and even though I've swirled my brush in this almost daily it looks barely touched.

This is a formulation that works perfectly for me. It is impossible to go overboard with this as even a decent swirl in the pan picks up a really natural amount of colour. I feel like I've made this formula sound unappealing due to it's lack of strong pigment, but it doesn't have the cons that a lot of "drier" blushes do. It isn't chalky on the skin, it doesn't kick up a lot of powder and it isn't hard to work with. Overall, I just really love this product and  I think it's perfect for anyone who is a little intimidated by blush because you definitely won't be messing up. I really want to expand my NYX blush collection!

What is your favourite blush and have you tried any by NYX?
