Honey Bronze
As a fair skinned girl, The Body Shop's honey bronzer has always appealed to me. But as an utter bronzer-phobe, I had convinced myself it just wasn't for me and that I needed to stop spending money on them as they never seemed to work. The other day when my sister was testing out nearly every skin care item The Body Shop has on offer, I found myself contemplating this product once again. The lady working asked if I would like to try it on and proceeded to apply what I thought was an overly generous amount, but when I looked in the mirror once she was done I realised how natural and lovely it looked on the skin.
I was sold, and using it myself at home has been amazing experience after amazing experience. It is such a fool proof application, you can swirl your brush in the pan until your heart is content and you will never have too much product. This is definitely the ultimate bronzer for a natural look, and I highly recommend it to anyone who struggles to find a product that suits their skin tone.
What is your favourite bronzer?
I used to work in The Body Shop and this was literally my favourite bronzer. It applies really nicely and you're right - it was never too much :)

With spring here it's definitely prime bronzing season because we all want that glow but haven't had enough sun yet! I use a Too Faced bronzer duo and it works great

ReplyDeleteDefinitely do! I haven't read a mediocre review, everyone just seems to adore it. x
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! I'm so glad I picked it up. x
ReplyDeleteI definitely recommend looking into this one! I honestly thought I would never find the perfect shade for me, but there is no orange, no muddiness - it's just perfect. x

ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'd adore it as much as I do! x
ReplyDeleteI have heard some amazing things about this bronzer, having pale skin they used to be a no go zone for me but they have really improved over the past years! I also love the hoola bronzer by benefit but bojoures do a lovely chocolate one that looks natural too. This one is so much bigger though, I bet it's great for the body too!!!

Okay, I have to try this because I can literally never find a bronzer that's the right shade for my pale skin and it's so tragic

I've heard so many great things about this one! Glad to hear it works for you as well! For the moment I am on the new Guerlain Terracotta Joli Teint ones, but in summer I'll probably go back to Dior Matte Cinnamon again :)
ReplyDeleteThis bronzer is amazing! I love it! It looks so good when I'm so pale like now :)

I've always wanted to try this bronzer but since I don't have a body shop near me don't know which shade I should get. Browsing online, the opinions are too divided. Hopefully I'll get both and keep the one that suits me best.

Mascara & Maltesers
I always forget about The Body Shop for makeup as well! They have so many lovely products, though. x
ReplyDeleteThey have so many, but are often overlooked! x
ReplyDeleteI am quite pale and the lightest one is only JUST visible on my skin and I wanted it that way for an ultra natural look. However, if you are wanting it to be a bit more distinct, or aren't pale, the second might be a better option. x
ReplyDeleteI definitely recommend it! x
ReplyDeleteThe Guerlain bronzer looks so, so beautiful and is definitely one I want to try. x
ReplyDeleteI agree, they really have improved! This one would be great for the body, it works really nicely to match you face and neck colours as well. x
ReplyDeleteI've actually heard quite a few people talking about the bronzer! Need to try it next time going pass body shop just to have a look at least :)
