Tumblr Inspo #10

For anyone who hasn't seen the first nine instalments of my 'Tumblr Inspo' feature, I am completely addicted to Tumblr and love to collect the images I've been loving and inspired by over the month and share them in this space - usually accompanied by a random babble/update type piece!

While it is technically the "summer holidays" in Australia, I am taking some summer classes to help chip away at my course to allow me to go on exchange. Because I am only taking two classes as opposed to my usual four, I have had some spare time to work on my blog and catch up with my friends. When school is busy I tend to neglect my friendships outside of university, and I really try to make up for this when I have the time and see people as often as I can before uni goes back. I'm sure everyone who has left high school has similar feelings of guilt and I'd really love to hear how you deal with these kinds of things. I know "making time" is so important, but with everyone running on different schedules it can be so difficult to coordinate.

As for my blog I've been putting a lot more time and effort into it in terms of planning and taking the time to photograph things until I'm proud of what I've produced. No more hasty snaps and last-minute posts for me, which really usually leave me stressed rather than feeling like I'm making "authentic" content. A lot of people kind of frown upon pre-planning, but when I am feeling inspired and churn out three posts in a row, I don't want to post three posts - why not save the other two for when I'm feeling uninspired, right?

What have you guys been up to lately?

  2. Definitely so hard to keep up with friends when everyone's busy with their own lives, school, or work. I'm all about making "sacrifices" for the people that mean a lot to me, such as meeting up really late even though I have a super early morning. And they do the same. :)

  3. Awesome photos, I loved the one of the Arc de Triomphe. And yeah, making time for friends and family is easier said than done, I know.
