Cherry Blossom Season

Cherry blossoms are known for having an incredibly short blooming period and every year I am equally as surprised when they appear. I feel so lucky to be able to see them and it's so magical, especially in the winter as it lets me know that spring is on it's way. I hope whatever part of the world you're in has cherry blossoms and you get to see them bloom in person.

This week has been stressful for a few reasons, and these were such a nice reminder to quite literally stop and smell the flowers. They line my street, so every morning, afternoon or evening I have something to put a smile on my face. I hope all of your weeks have been good, I just wanted to stop by and share these pictures even though I wasn't too sure what I wanted to say.

  8. Cherry Blossoms are so pretty and I am hoping to get some tattood on my leg at some point to remind me of the cherry tree that we used to have in our front garden (until it got really unruly and we had to chop it down *heart breaks*)

  10. Sorry to hear that you've had a stressful week, but hurrah for the cherry blossoms lining your street. My housemate has an awesome tattoo of a cherry blossom tree going up her side. I'm not usually into tattoos, but I like this one!

  19. I'm surprised that you found cherry blossoms in August! I would love to see those near my neighborhoods, but the last of them bloomed in June. It's always a good reminder to see beauty in the small things!

  20. It's actually just coming into spring where I live, so they're in full bloom! It's such a shame they don't last forever though.
